Lumena’s journey into the Space Force begins

Lumena is proud to announce the expanded deployment of MindGym across the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC), including Los Angeles AFB, Vandenberg SFB, Patrick SFB, and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. All locations are on track to be fully operational by mid-January 2026, marking an important milestone in delivering cutting-edge cognitive readiness technology to Guardians.
This enterprise-wide rollout was made possible through the leadership of Lt. Col. Grant, whose commitment to investing in operator well-being ensured MindGym would reach Guardians across the entire Command.
Strengthening Guardian Resilience
MindGym will be integrated through SSC’s Guardian Resilience Teams (GRTs), which operationalize the Space Force’s Holistic Health Approach (HHA)—a science-based framework supporting all eight domains of Total Force Fitness. Together, MindGym and the GRTs enhance focus, emotional regulation, stress response, and overall psychological readiness for high-stakes mission environments.
Lumena’s Full-Force Support
With each MindGym deployment, Lumena’s team arrives on base to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience. This includes building the MindGym environment to exacting standards, orienting leadership, training key personnel, supporting awareness campaigns, and hosting a grand opening demonstration for the base community.
During the recent deployment at Cape Canaveral, one Guardian’s first experience with MindGym captured the deeper purpose of this mission. Balancing the demands of a high-consequence role and personal challenges, he immediately recognized how MindGym could support his mental health and performance. He committed to using MindGym three times a day as he explores what works best for him—and expressed excitement to share it with his peers.
